Tim was born in Milwaukee , WI , where residents of the state proudly proclaim to be Green Bay Packer “Cheeseheads.” Moved to Goleta as a child and graduated from Goleta Valley Jr. High and Dos Pueblos High School. Enlisted in the Air Force and worked as a Weapons Systems Specialist on the F-111D and the top-secret Stealth Fighter while assigned to the Nevada Test Site. Upon completing two enlistments, returned to Goleta and worked for Delco Systems Operations as a technician on missile guidance computers. General Motors would eventually close the Delco facility and this led to a career change and employment with the Santa Barbara County Probation Department as a Juvenile Institutions Officer, Deputy Probation Officer, and Probation Manager of Los Prietos Boys Camp, Santa Barbara Juvenile Hall and Juvenile Services. Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Volunteer activities have included AYSO, Mission Santa Ynez, Santa Barbara County Management Association, and the Boy Scouts of America. Hobbies include recreational sports, running, music, reading and word games. Tim is married to his high school sweetheart and is the father of three wonderful children. . |
